Why do you have to put in your cell phone carrier when posting an application on a career services website?
I've been applying for jobs on Craigslist and I have often gotten redirected to these career websites that I assume 'filters' out disqualified applicants. This happens about 75% of the time I apply for a job. That is fine, but why do I need to put my cell phone carrier next to my cell phone number? This seems sketchy to me.

- I wouldn't give my carrier to anyone. it sounds like a scam to either change your carrier or to send you unwanted text messages.
