What are the likes and dislikes of an art education career?

When i say a career in art education i mean teaching in a public school at middle school level.

1. LIKES: You get to do work that you like and that is not too difficult to comprehend or share with students. DISLIKES: You have to be really good to make money, but as a teacher of art, you may not get the resources you need to do the job well. Budget cuts will come where the school thinks they are needed. Art will be scrutinized hard.
