to all engineers.. what career planning course have you set?

  1. In general, I would suggest that you should concentrate on doing the best possible work in your current job and not worry too much about career planning. From my own experience, I know that you can't really predict what opportunities will come up in even a year or two, let alone your whole career. Engineering happens to be very good preparation for all kinds of jobs, not just engineering, e.g., management, planning, etc. Getting good performance reviews from your present supervisor or employer is the best preparation for future good jobs.
