- I'm pretty sure that Counseling jobs require a Masters' Degree. You would start off by getting an Undergraduate (Bachelor's) Degree, which for at least your first two years you could do online since you move a lot... then you would have to go for the two year Master's Degree. A lon road but well worth it!!
- First you go to college and major in psychology. Then you go to grad school and major in counseling. You might look into taking classes on line. Many reputable colleges have on line classes, but I am sure there are a lot of crooks out there so be sure you know about the college before you sign up.
- High school counselors don't "counsel" anymore so if you really want to work with indivudals and/or couples, you will need to get a master's degree and then get licensure. Your degree can be in either social work or psychology; you can start with classes at a community college and then some colleges have on-line courses but it's more difficult at the undergraduate level. Masters you can do all on-line. It's doable so pursue further. Good luck!
- There are a few on line schools................good where ever you travel in the states..............need a degree.........
