Is there any free counseling dealing with career and depression?
I'm 30 years old and I need counseling someone to talk to about my depression, marriage, finding a good career and other stuff. I could go to a therapist or psychiatrist but they can be expensive. I'm on somewhat of a tight budget and I made a promise to myself not to spend too much money. So is there any place to go for free counseling on depression and career advice?

- Check your city or town for either a community services board or many places use sliding scale fees. Start on the local governments web site they should have some info. Many times your local paper will have some listings, for support groups etc.Call them also check with your closest ER, they have to call in people to do evaluations all the time. As for the career go to your unemployment office, they have all sorts of services now they can help steer you in the right direction
- just talk to understanding friends/family and they will talk you through all of your problems, or you could just aim me. my aim is just0sh1ng if you ever need it but tell me who you are as soon as you do, ok. just remember, if life throws lemons at you, make lemonade.
- if you apply into a community college or university, you can seek their counseling service for free and they will help you determine which career would most likely interest you. it's easier to apply into community college because they ask for less information. it'll cost you about 20- 30 $ to turn in an application. you don't have to be currently taking classes at their school, but you do have to have your application submitted to them. Once you've turned in your school application, you can schedule an appointment to speak with the counselor there about your career options and depression.
